Billing: Accounting / Billing

NYC Black Car Chauffeur rides are billed to either a customer’s credit card or a corporate account. All charges are billed to your credit card or bill. For credit cards, payment is pre-authorized forty-eight (48) to seventy-two (72) hours prior to the trip date. Full payment is taken after trip completion.

NYC Black Car Chauffeur accepts cash and all major credit cards (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, & Visa). Rates include the base charge, tolls, airport and regulatory fees, service transportation charge (STC), parking, and any other applicable fees. A voluntary gratuity is suggested but not mandatory and is at the client’s discretion.

Payment Terms: All payments must be settled before the trip date. Chauffeurs are not permitted to accept payments. Cash, checks, and money orders must be paid at the office at least ten (10) days before the trip date.

Rate Adjustments: Rates are subject to audit after service completion to include additional fees such as tolls, parking, extra stops, or extended time.

Hourly Trips

Hourly reservations require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. Refunds may be credited for future trips at the company’s discretion.

Currency & Charges: All rates are calculated in U.S. dollars at the prevailing exchange rate.

Car Seats

  • Rear-Facing Infant Car Seat – $20 each (5 to 22 lbs, up to 29″ height)
  • Forward-Facing Toddler Car Seat – $20 each (20 to 40 lbs, up to 43″ height)
  • Backless Booster Seat – $20 each (30–100 lbs, 34″ to 57″ height)

Damage Policy & Fees

The chauffeur inspects each vehicle before, during, and after each rental. Clients are responsible for any damage incurred, including but not limited to:

  • Cleaning Fee: Minimum $200 for excessive mess, spills, or damages
  • Smoking & Eating: Not permitted inside the vehicle
  • Controlled Substances: Strictly prohibited
  • Glassware Damage: $10 per cracked, broken, or missing glass
  • Vomit Cleaning Fee: Minimum surcharge of $200

The chauffeur reserves the right to terminate the trip immediately, without refund, if any passenger violates safety rules or poses a risk to the vehicle or driver.

Change Policy

All changes must be made at least four (4) hours before the scheduled pick-up time by contacting:

Changes cannot be made directly with chauffeurs. If a requested change cannot be accommodated and results in cancellation, a 100% fare charge including a 20% service fee will apply.

Wait Time Policy

  • Airport Pickups: 30-minute grace period from the last posted arrival time
  • Point-to-Point Trips: 15-minute grace period

Wait time is billed at the hourly rate of the reserved vehicle.

Additional Charges

  • Red-Eye Fee: Applies to pick-ups between 11:59 PM and 5:00 AM EST
  • Extra Stops: Charged after the first two stops
  • Cruise Terminal Pickups: Additional fee applies
  • Airport Crossover Fee
  • Holiday Surcharges: Rates vary by date

Cancellation Policy / No-Show Fees

  • Sedan Service: Cancellations less than 10 hours (U.S.) or 24 hours (international) before pickup incur full fare.
  • SUV, Limo, Sprinter/Van: 50% deposit required; cancellation fees apply.

NYC Black Car Chauffeur is not responsible for missed or delayed flights or additional costs incurred.

A cancellation confirmation number will be provided and must be kept for your records.

Bus Services

Driver Work Hours: CDL drivers may operate a maximum of 10 hours within a 15-hour workday.

  • Hourly Rate: $225–$270 depending on bus size
  • Additional Day Rate: $1,100 per day
  • Permits & Parking: Not included
  • Deposits: 50% per bus, per day (non-refundable)

Cancellation Fees:

  • More than 45 days before: Full deposit refund
  • 45–7 days before: $400 fee per bus per day
  • Less than 7 days: Full fare charge

Liability

Clients are responsible for any damages to the bus. NYC Black Car Chauffeur is not responsible for lost items or electronic malfunctions (WiFi, TV, DVD, screens). The company reserves the right to subcontract vehicles as needed.

  • SMS used only for reservations, trip updates, or support
  • Opt-Out anytime by replying STOP
  • No sharing or selling of phone numbers
